About the event
On-Camera Acting Class No experience is necessary - all you need is a curiosity about how to act for the camera. The focus of the class is acting technique for the camera. I assign sides from both TV and film.
I will focus on the technical aspects of the medium - relationship to the camera and how to use framing - along with the acting techniques that really help actors to let go of the need to 'perform' and live in the truth and specificity of each moment.
I've shared the screen with actors such as Jared Leto and Kathryn Hahn, and appeared on HBO, Netflix, Apple TV+, NBC, USA, and MTV. I have been studying on-camera technique regularly since graduating from NYU, and have been coaching actors for the last 2 years.
